The Tutoring Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Learning Commons in Building A and our mission is to enhance students’ academic skills by providing high quality instructional support services. We strive to assist all learners at all levels in achieving academic success, gaining self-confidence, and becoming independent learners. The Tutoring Center continues to search for new services and programs to enhance educational support for students while remaining focused on BPCC’s mission.
Tutoring services on a variety of subjects are offered to BPCC students and local high school students free of charge. Tutor and subject availability vary by semester. View our online appointment scheduler or contact us for current availability.

Proctoring Services are offered for students who may be in online courses and have logistical issues with testing or who may need to take a make-up exam. Proctoring will take place in the Library Classroom (Building A - Room 149) on the first floor of the library. If you think you need to use the Proctoring Services in the Learning Commons, contact your instructor to begin setting up a session.
The Library Classroom is unable to accommodate exams that are already being proctored by an electronic service such as ProctorU/Proctorio, due to camera requirements. If you are taking an exam using an electronic proctoring service and need to take it on campus, you may reserve a private study room in the Library or Tutoring Center.
For proctoring with the Disability Services Office, contact Angie Cao at email@example.com.
For specialized testing services, visit BPCC Testing Center.
Resources in the Tutoring Center include all the models and equipment that support hands-on learning. All resources may be checked out for use in the Tutoring Center.
