Fall Nursing Applicants

The deadline for applying to the fall 2020 Clinical Level BPCC Nursing program has been extended until May 8th at 12:00 p.m.  Due to the closing of the campus, all applications must be sent through U. S. mail to the address below:

If you wish to apply for the fall nursing program and do not have an application, please email sturley@bpcc.edu. An application will be emailed to you.

Once  applications have been processed, all applicants will be notified of the dates for TEAS testing.  At this time, we anticipate June testing dates. If you have questions, please email sturley@bpcc.edu.

Program Overview

The Bossier Parish Community College Associate of Science in Nursing Program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) located at 3343 Peachtree Rd NE #850, Atlanta, GA 30326, 404-975-5000.The program has full approval of the Louisiana State Board of Nursing (LSBN) located at 17373 Perkins Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70810.

BPCC’s Nursing Program consists of a prerequisite component and a clinical component. Students may work at any pace (part-time/full-time) to complete the prerequisite course requirements. After completion of these courses (with a “C” or better), students apply for admission to the clinical component. The program is designed so the student will complete the clinical portion in three consecutive semesters (fall, spring, fall or spring, fall, spring). Important Deadlines

All Applications must be submitted by 3:30 p.m. on the day of the deadline:

  • The first Monday in October – Traditional RN Program application deadline for Spring admission
  • The first Monday in April – Traditional RN Program application deadline for Fall admission
  • The first Monday in April – LPN to RN Transition Program application deadline for Fall admission
