BPCC Testing Center

The BPCC Testing Center provides a wide range of test services needed by the area’s workforce, students, and members of the military. An appointment is required for all tests. Test services include Louisiana’s high school equivalency exam (HiSET), high-stakes professional certification and licensure exams, information technology certifications, credit-by-examination, distance education proctoring, DANTES-funded testing, workforce assessments, and national test services.

Tests are delivered at two locations, BPCC’s Testing Center located on the BPCC campus and the National Test Center located in the Education Building at Barksdale Air Force Base. You must have access to BAFB to schedule exams on the Base.

The BPCC Testing Center is a participant in the National College Testing Association Consortium of College Testing Centers.

Hours & Locations

The campus Testing Center is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 8 am-8 pm and most Fridays and Saturdays  8 am-3 pm. We also have a Testing Center at BAFB which is open Mondays 7:30 am-3:30 pm and Wednesdays 7:30 am-7:00 pm. To use the BAFB facility, you must already have access to BAFB.

If you are a BPCC student who needs to take an exam for an online course or a make-up exam, you need to contact the Student Exam Center located in E-121. The SEC phone number is 318-678-6346

Schedule an Exam

Scheduling an exam using BPCC’s online registration:  Many exams can be scheduled using BPCC’s Testing Center online registration:

Be sure to Print Your Receipt since it will show your appointment date, time, test center location, amount you paid, and important details you should follow. Fees are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule your appointment, you should contact BPCC’s Testing Center at least 24 hours in advance via email (testing@bpcc.edu) or by calling 318-678-6002.

Scheduling appointments for tests not shown in BPCC’s online registration: If you need to schedule a test that is not shown in BPCC’s Testing Center online registration, you will need to go to the website for that exam to find registration information. Be sure to read and follow all instructions especially those that apply to identification and rescheduling.

Special Accommodations: Most special accommodations must be approved by the test company (College Board, ETS, Pearson VUE, etc.) If you have questions about require special accommodations, contact the BPCC’s Testing Center via email (testing@bpcc.edu) or by calling 318-678-6002.

Security Measures: Test companies have very strict security measures that BPCC’s Testing Center is required to enforce. BPCC Testing Center policy prohibits access to cell phones, PDAs, audio and photographic devices, all watches, purses or bags, food or drink at test administrations. Hoodies are not allowed in the test room. You may be asked to roll up your sleeves, turn pockets wrong side out, lift long hair, etc. Lockers are provided for storage of personal items during the exam. No personal items are allowed in the testing room.

Identification: Two forms of identification are usually required for testing admission. It is required that one ID be a current government-issued ID with your photo and signature AND second ID with your signature is permissible.

An appointment is required for all tests. Security cameras are utilized along with other strict security procedures including a no cell phone policy in the testing room.

Distance Education Proctoring

BPCC Testing Center proctors exams for Distance Education students in a secure monitored testing environment. We proctor paper/pencil exams as well as computer based exams.

The administrative fee for proctored exams is $30.00.

Each learning institution has their own procedures for approving proctors for exams so call us to discuss the particulars at -318-678-6002.

Student Exam Center

For exams related to courses taught at BPCC, please contact your Instructor to coordinate with the Student Exam Center proctor. The Student Exam Center is located in Building E, Room 121.
